Raymond J. Vaillancourt Jr. 35, a long time resident of Keene and formerly of Gardner, MA. died on Wednesday, September 02, 2015 at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon. He passed 
peacefully after a period of declining health.
Raymond was born the son of Sherry A. (Lower) and Raymond J. Vaillancourt Sr. on August 3, 1980 in Gardner, MA. He was educated in Keene and attended Keene Schools.
Ray was formerly married to Randi Lee Vaillancourt and they had a daughter Gemma Vaillancourt.

as formerly employed by Boston Markets a cook.
He enjoyed many things in life. Time was spent four wheeling, snow mobiling, He played pool in the Keene Pool League. His most enjoyable time was fishing with his daughter. Ray was also civic minded. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Keene.
A special thank you is given by the family for all the kind people who have helped Ray with his fight with Cystic Fibrosis, especially the Cystic Fibrosis Team at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon.
Mr. Vaillancourt is survived by his mother, Sherry A McCaw and her fianc Steven Kenyon of Sullivan. His father Raymond J. Vaillancourt Sr. and his wife Susan of Winchendon, MA. His grandparents, Marlene Skillings of Keene and Rosalie Vaillancourt of Gardner, MA. Rays daughter, Gemma R. Vaillancourt of Keene. His siblings; Keith Kelley and his wife Jade of Jaffrey. Kyle Kelly of Keene. David McCaw and his fianc Elizabeth Dalman of Taylorsville, GA. Renee Anderson and her husband John of Dedham, Ma. Justina Ragsdale of Leominster, MA. Laura Vaillancourt and her fianc Daniel Caputi of Winchendon, MA. Rays significant other Jennifer Borges amd her daughter Destini of Keene. In addition he leaves uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Ray is pre-deceased by his grandparents; Edward Lower who passed in 1966 and Ronald H. Vaillancourt who passed in 1988.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, September 8, 2014 from 6 to 8pm. in the Cheshire Family Funeral Chapel. Burial will take place on Friday, September 11, 2015 at 10am. at St. Josephs Cemetery, Lower Main St. Keene, NH. 03431. Flowers will gladly be accepted.
