Judith “Judy” Marie Fuerderer, 86, a resident of Surry, passed away peacefully and quietly on Sunday, April 21, 2024, in the comfort of her home surrounded by the love of her family.
She enjoyed cooking, reading, movies, museums, crafting and gardening. She also had a passion for interior decorating. Judy enjoyed being a homemaker and spending her time with her children. She was co-owner of Jack True Value Hardware in Keene, NH until 2007. Judy had a big heart and was always there for anyone in a time of need.
She is survived by the love of her life, Bob Fuerderer of Surry, their children, Robert Fuerderer Jr. of Surry, Linda Fuerderer of Marlow, Eric Fuerderer of Ridge, NY., Joan Segal of Israel, and Jean P. Schramm of Ridge, NY. She is also survived by her sister, Patricia Triolo of Valley Stream, NY. many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, her son Carl Thomas, brother Thomas, and sister Margaret.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, April 25, 2024, from 2:00 pm-4:00 pm and 6:00 pm- 8:00 pm at the Cheshire Family Funeral Chapel, 44 Maple Ave. Keene, NH. 03431. A burial will take place at 11:30 am on Friday, April 26, 2024, in the family lot at Mountain View Cemetery, 875 Old Homestead HWY, Swanzey, NH. 03446. In lieu of flowers donations may be made out to Surry volunteer fire and EMS, Home Healthcare And Hospice, and Monadnock Humane Society.
