Paul A. Lazzaro, 78, of Swanzey and formerly of Marlborough died on Thursday, May 2, 2019. He passed peacefully in the comfort of his home while sleeping.
Paul was born the son of the late Rosa (Jacob) and Guido Lazzaro on January 8, 1941 in Keene. He was educated locally and graduated from Keene High School class of 1959.
Paul was formerly married to, mother of his children, Beverly A. Tommila who passed on December 31, 1999. .
In 2005 he started a relationship with Diane C. Boulay that blossomed into a relationship for the past fourteen years.
He worked for the MPB/Timkin Co for forty-three years as a Supervisor and Machinist before retiring in 2002.
He enjoyed remote control car racing (RC Cars), building models, trout fishing and NASCAR. He was a baseball and football enthusiast. Paul was a giving and kind soul.
Mr. Lazzaro is survived by his significant other, Diane C. Boulay of Swanzey. His children; Angela A. Beaulieu and her husband, Mark of Troy, Anthony G. Lazzaro and his wife, Lisa of Swanzey, Nicole M. Castle and her husband Scott of Swanzey. Diane’s children; Christine C. Williams and her husband, Mark of New Fields and Christopher J. Livsey of Keene. Seven 
grandchildren; Jordan Beaulieu, Jenna Beaulieu, Mark A. Beaulieu, Nathan Lazzaro, Haydon Castle, Erin Castle and Adrian Castle. A great grandchild, Azalea Lazzaro. In addition he leaves cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family and a great friend, brother-in-law Ray Blanchaed. Paul is pre-deceased by his son, Timothy J. Lazzaro who passed in 1972, his parents and his siblings; Conrad Lazzaro, Roland Lazzaro and Rosemarie Blanchard all passed earlier.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, May 10, 2019 from 6 to 8pm. in the funeral chapel. In keeping with Paul’s wishes there are no religious services and burial will be private. Flowers will gladly be accepted. However, the family would prefer donations be made in memory of Paul A. Lazzaro to: Monadnock Humane Society, 101 West Swanzey Rd. Swanzey, NH. 03446.
