Nicholas Nick Edward Young
Nicholas Nick Edward Young, 23, of Keene and Gladys, VA. died on Saturday, February 2, 2013.
He was born the twin son of Michelle C. (LeClair) and Gary A. Young, with his sister, Ashley Caroline Young, on September 20, 1989 in Worcester, Massachusetts. He was educated locally in Keene and graduated from Keene High School class of 2008.
On December 25, 2012 he exchanged vows with Emily E. Parker in a simple ceremony in Keene.
Nicholas worked for the Keene Donut Kitchen as a Baker. He has been with them for nine months. Prior to that, he worked in construction, building and reconstructing commercial restaurants throughout the southeast.
He enjoyed snowboarding, hiking, and camping. Indoors, he played video games, read about, and viewed programs on animals and wildlife. Nicks free time revolved around his family, especially playing with his nieces and nephews, and introducing them to the outdoors, wildlife, and fishing. He was a member of the Moose in Waynseboro, VA.
Nick is survived by his wife, Emily E. Young of Keene. His parents; Michelle C. Young and her husband Andrew Howarth of Keene, Gary A. Young and his wife Joanne Baird, of Stuarts Draft, VA. Siblings; his twin sister, Ashley C. Young of ,Peterborough, NH. Tony A. Young and his wife Amber M. of Gladys, VA. Danyelle J. Young of Lynchburg, VA.Andy Howarth and his wife Deja L. of Pine Grove, CA. Jason L. Olsen and his wife Katie of Manhattan, NY and Amy Hauttman and her husband of Hillsborough NH. He also leaves his in-laws, Allen and Cathleen Parker of Keene. Sister in-law Rachael Wilcox and her husband Tony of Keene and brother in-law Ryan Parker of Keene. Although Nick never had any children he is also survived by his dogs, Marley, Jax, and Dozer who he loved dearly, and by his many nieces and nephews who loved their Uncle Nicky.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, February 8, 2013 from 4 to 7pm. A celebration of life service will occur on Saturday, February 9, 2013 at 12:25pmBurial will be private. PLANTS will gladly be accepted. However, the family would prefer donations be made in memory of Nicholas E. Young to the Monadnock Humane Society, 101 West Swanzey Rd. Swanzey, NH. 03446.
