Lorna G. (Ethier) Brown 71 of Winchester died on Wednesday, January 23, 2013 in the comfort of her home.
She was born the daughter of the late Ethel (Gravel) and Paul Ethier on September 30, 1941 in Keene. Lorna was educated locally and graduated from Keene High School class of 1959.
Ms. Brown has worked at the Timoleons Restaurant in Keene for the past 26 years as a dishwasher, kitchen help and hostess. Lorna was also a member of the Winchester Ambulance Service for many years. She will be missed by her co workers.
Lorna liked to keep her mind busy by doing crossword puzzles. She always enjoyed a good cup of coffee while sitting with her pet Chihuahuas. Time would be spent at family gatherings or going out to dinner with family and friends. Lorna lived a simple and private life. Her world revolved around her children and pets.
Ms. Brown is survived by her children and their spouses; Robert J. Brown Jr. and his wife Marie of Lempster, Debra J. Goforth and her husband Henry of Ashville, N.C. and Michael S. Brown and his wife Jessica of Hinsdale and Mary B. Sousa and her husband Christopher of Nashua. She leaves a brother, Paul D. Ethier and his wife Kimberly of Keene. NH. Eight grandchildren; Eric, Abby, Shane, Jennifer, Amy, Diana, Tara and Mark. Six great grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, February 2, 2013 at 10am. in the funeral home. There are no calling hours and burial will take place in the family lot at Evergreen Cemetery, Winchester come spring. Flowers will gladly be accepted. However, the family would prefer donations be made in memory of Lorna G. Brown to the Monadnock Humane Society, 101 West Swanzey Rd. Swanzey, NH. 03446.
