Elizabeth A. (Exel) Bosworth, 76, a long-time resident of Keene and formerly of Swanzey died on Wednesday. May 10, 2017 at Keene Center Genesis. She passed peacefully with the love of her husband near.
Elizabeth was born the daughter of the late Ruth (Hackler) and Steven Exel in July 20, 1940 in Keene. She was educated in Keene and graduated from Keene High School class of 1958. She went on in her studies and attended Wheaton College in Massachusetts and Glenn Cove Bible School in Maine.
On October 8, 1966 she exchanged vows with David L. Bosworth at the Troy Baptist Church in Troy. They were married with family and friends in attendance and have been married for fifty years.
Elizabeth enjoyed knitting and playing the piano. Time was spent reading a good book. She enjoyed being with her close circle of friends.
Mrs. Bosworth is survived by her husband, David L. Bosworth of Keene. Her two children; Linda Depew and her husband David of Swanzey and Timothy Bosworth and his wife Connie of Pinellas Park, Florida. She leaves a brother, Richard Exel and his wife Lisa of Swanzey. Five grandchildren; Rebeca Subura, Rachell Depew, Bethany Bosworth, Brianna Bosworth and Boone Depew. In addition she leaves cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
In keeping with Elizabeth’s wishes there are no calling hours. A celebration of life service will be held on Sunday, June 11, 2017 at 2 pm. in the funeral chapel. Burial will be private.
