Beverly (Flavin) Budzik 87 of Keene and formerly of West Swanzey died May 8, 2017 at Cheshire Medical Center/Dartmouth Hitchcock Keene. She passed peacefully with her family near after a brief period of declining health.

She was born September 4, 1929 in Keene, NH. The daughter of Thomas M. Flavin and Lillian E. (Stromgren) Flavin. She grew up in Spofford and Keene and graduated from Keene High School in 1947.

In her early years Beverly worked at the Chase Farm (Stonewall Farm). In high school she delivered papers for the Keene Evening Sentinel and received numerous awards and recognitions for selling war bonds and stamps. Later she went on to work for Indian Head News, MPB and Woolworths.

In 1957 she married Joseph S. Budzik at St James Episcopal Church in Keene, NH and moved to West Swanzey where she lived for 30 years.

She enjoyed traveling around New England, Crafts including ceramics and sewing and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her son Stephen his wife Patricia and grandchildren Olivia and Hayden Budzik all of Richmond, NH. A brother Gordon Jack Flavin of Keene and several nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her husband Joseph S. Budzik who died in 1983, 3 brothers Thomas Bill Flavin, Allen Flavin and Gary Flavin and 3 sisters Margaret Goodrum, Katherine Kitty Spring and Janet Brown.

In keeping with Beverlys wishes there will be no public services. A private burial will take place this summer at Oak Hill Cemetery in Swanzey, NH. All services are under the care of Cheshire Family Funeral Home and Crematories, 46 South Winchester St. Swanzey, NH. 03446. WWW.cheshirefamilyfh.com.
