Dwight D. Hogan Camp

Dwight D. Hogan Camp, 62, a long-time resident of Troy and formerly of Fitzwilliam died on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 in the comfort of his home with family near after a brief period of declining health.

Dwight was born the son of Verna (Howard) Murphy and the late Robert HoganCamp on October 4, 1955 in Stonham, Massachusetts. He attended schools in New York where he graduated from Union Springs Academy. He later went on in his studies at Worcester State College where he took classes and certification programs in computer programming. As time went on he also took classes at Keene State College for Computer Science.

On June 5, 1977 he exchanged vows with Patricia A. Hildreth at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Syracuse, New York. They were married with family and friends in attendance and have been married for forty years.

Dwight was working for Target Department Stores in Keene for the past nine years as a stocker and member of the flow team.

Dwight had many interests in life. He enjoyed music, photography, model railroading, tinkering with machines and computers and computer programming. He was devout in his faith. He would pray regularly for guidance. Dwight was also a family man and role model for his children. He loved to be a part of their lives and was always up for family events and get togethers.

Mr. HoganCamp is survived by his wife, Patricia A. HoganCamp of Troy. His children; Amy L. Knowlton and her husband Scott of Dixfield, ME. Elliott F. HoganCamp of TX. And Emery P. HoganCamp and his fiancé Kelly A. Pinette of Brunswick, ME. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, cousins, nephews, extended family and friends. Dwight is pre-deceased by his father, Robert HoganCamp and his brother, Douglas HoganCamp.

In keeping with Dwight’s wishes there are no calling hours. A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at 2pm. in the Seventh Day Adventist Church, 42 Forbush Ln. Swanzey, NH. 03446. Burial will take place later. All services are under the care of Cheshire Family Funeral Home and Crematories, 46 South Winchester St. Swanzey, NH. 03446.
