Robert “Bob” A. Boucher, 82, of Swanzey and formerly of Keene and Winchester for many years, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 in the comfort of his home. Robert was born the son of the late Gertrude (Morse) and Joseph Boucher on August 18, 1935 in Cabot, VT.

Bob was a machinist at Kingsbury’s in Keene for many years before retiring. He previously owned and operated Stebo’s Restaurant, in East Swanzey for thirteen years.

Bob was a parishioner at the First Evangelical Congregational Church in Uxbridge, MA before relocating to New Hampshire. He enjoyed watching all of the New England sport teams. Bob could be seen working in his yard and on various projects around his house. He enjoyed going on train rides and trips to Clark’s trading Post in Lincoln, NH. Time was also spent playing cribbage and cards with his friends.

Mr. Boucher is survived by his children; David G. Boucher and his wife Regina of Uxbridge, MA. Brenda L. Kasper and her husband Thomas of Uxbridge, MA. Sheila B. Moore and her husband Kenneth of Roanoke, VA. and Debra L. Metcalf and her husband Russell of Milford, MA. His brother Arthur Boucher and his wife Claudette of Uxbridge, MA. In addition, he leaves nine grandchildren, four great grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family. Bob is predeceased by nine siblings, and his son, Robert A. Boucher who passed in 2008. Bob will be missed by his many close friends, especially Philip “Hilly” Hilleker and Irene Miller.
