Timothy “Tim” E. McAndrews, 39, of Millis, Massachusetts and formerly of Erving, MA. passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, August 25, 2022 after a brief period of declining health at Mass General Hospital in Boston, MA. He passed peacefully with the love of his family near.

Timothy was born a son of Kathleen M. (Banach) and John J. McAndrews on March 21, 1983 in Greenfield, MA. He was educated locally and graduated from Turners Falls High School class of 2001. Tim went on in his education attending UMass Dartmouth to study accounting.

On April 2, 2011 Tim exchanged vows with the love of his life, Rebecca E. House. They exchanged vows at the 1st Congregational Church of Gill, MA. with family and friends in attendance. They have been married for eleven years.

He was presently employed by Entegee Inc. in Millis, Ma. as a technical recruiter “head hunter” for the past 6 years. Prior, he had been employed with Dana Farber Hospital as a parking coordinator for 5 years, as well as being a sales associate for Cheshire Furniture for 8 years.

Tim enjoyed many things in life. He played football in his younger years and enjoyed watching football on TV and going to games when time permitted. He loved the thrill of playing the lottery and could always be found spending time with friends. Tim was a very proud family man. His daughter, Mallory, was the central focus of his life and every decision he made.

Mr. McAndrews is survived by his wife, Rebecca E. McAndrews and their daughter, Mallory K. McAndrews of Millis, MA. his parents, Kathleen “Kathy” and John McAndrews of Erving, MA. His grandmother, Margaret “Peggy” McAndrews of Erving, MA. Tim is also survived by his brother, Jeffrey P. McAndrews and his wife, Dulcie of Erving, MA. His in-laws, Richard and Genevieve House of Union, NH and Caylah and John Duda of Millis, MA. In addition, he is also survived by; uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, extended family and friends. Tim is pre-deceased by his grandparents; Brian McAndrews, Mary and Walter Banach. In addition to his favorite aunt, Rosie Cetto.

A graveside service will be at 11:00am. on Friday, September 2, 2022 at the Mater Dolorosa Cemetery, Wisdom Way, Greenfield, MA.
