Norma L. (Bedford) “White” Cameron, 88, of Keene and formerly of Swanzey died in the comfort of her home on Wednesday, August 17, 2016. She passed peacefully after a period of declining health surrounded by family.

Norma was born the daughter of the late Emma Jane (Greenwood) and Oscar Bedford on January 14, 1928 in Weymouth, Massachusetts. She graduated from Weymouth High School class of 1946.

On June 27, 1949 she exchanged vows with Richard H. White. They were married at the 3rd. Universalist Church in Weymouth with family and friends in attendance. Sadly, Richard passed in 1988 after thirty-nine years of marriage. Norma was fortunate to find love once again and on May 20, 2004 she married John Cameron at the Chapel in Myrtle Beach. S.C. they have been married for twelve years.

For nineteen years Norma worked as the telephone switchboard operator at Keene State College.

Norma enjoyed life, her family, trips to Myrtle Beach and the Boston Celtics.

Mrs. Cameron is survived by her husband John Cameron of Keene. A daughter, Deborah J. Davis and her husband Gary of Swanzey. Grandsons; Gregg Davis, Geoff Davis and his fiancée, Melissa Kress, Four great grandchildren; Alyvia and Jackson Davis, Allyson Kress and Devin Henderson. A niece, Joan Walsh and nephew Russell Knights.
