Grace A. (Desrosiers) Broesder – Trask, 91, of Winchester and a former long-time resident of Keene died on Monday, August 28, 2017 at Applewood Care Center in Winchester. She passed peacefully with the love and compassion of family at her side after a brief period of declining health.

Grace was born the daughter of the late Harriet (Castor) and Arthur Desrosiers on November 22, 1925 in Keene. She was educated locally and graduated from Keene High School class of 1942.

On June 2, 1945 she exchanged vows with George F. Trask Sr. at St. Bernard’s Church in Keene. Sadly, George passed on January 14, 1975 after almost thirty years of marriage. Grace was fortunate to find love once again and on September 1st, 1984 when she wed George Broesder. They were married in a simple service in Fitzwilliam with close family and friends in attendance before he passed on August 20, 2008 after twenty-four years of marriage.

Grace worked in the cafeteria as a lunch lady and server at Keene High School for many years.

She enjoyed line and square dancing, classical music, She was an accomplished cook and baker. Grace was also a wonderful, loving, wife, mother, grandmother. great grandmother and in time, great-great grandmother.

Mrs. Broesder is survived by her brother, Royal Desrosiers and his wife Carrie of Keene. Seven grandchildren; Chris, Eric, John, Travis, Kathy, George and Michael. In addition she leaves ten great grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren. A daughter in-law, Phyllis Trask Patterson of Fitzwilliam, cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Grace is pre-deceased by her children; George F. Trask Jr. who passed in 1987 and Sheila A. (Trask) Saulnier who passed recently on July 21, 2017. Her siblings; Valerie French, Ernest Desrosiers, Roland Desrosiers and Christine Twombley all passed earlier.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 from 10 to 11am.

A celebration of life service will follow at 11am at the Cheshire Family Funeral Chapel on 44 Maple Ave in Keene. Burial will occur in the family lot at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Lower Main St. Keene, NH. 03431.
