Francis “Rocky” Milano, 71, a long-time resident of Keene and formerly of Ohio, Colorado and West Virginia died on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon. He passed peacefully with the love of his family present after a period of declining health.

Francis was born the son of the late Irene (Reichenbarch) and Michael Milano on Sepember 10, 1945 in Camden, New Jersey. He was educated in Scranton, PA. and graduated from Cathedral High School class of 1963. He went on in his studies where he attended the University of Scranton.

On November 11, 1967 he exchanged vows with Natalie J. Spaniol at St. Joseph’s Church in Coraopolis, PA. They were married with family and friends in attendance and have been happily married for almost fifty years.

Rocky was employed by the Gefco Company based in Oklahoma. He was the Sales Manager where the sold commercial new and refurbished water well equipment. Rocky retired from the company on September 16, 2015 after over thirty years of service.

He enjoyed photography, stamp and coin collecting and tinkering with cars. He loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren. Rocky was also philanthropic. He gave to St. Jude Children’s fund for the betterment of children and research.

Mr. Milano is survived by his wife, Natalie J. Milano of Keene. His children; Michael P Milano of Charlestown, Angela M. Mooney and her husband Jody of Surry and Margaret I. Milano and her husband James of Keene. A sister, Natalie Milano of Scranton, PA. Six grandchildren; Christy, Nikolas, Crystal, Shyanne, Adriana and Prestin. In addition he leaves cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

A mass will be held on Saturday, July 22, 2017 at 10am. in Parish of the Holy Spirit, St. Margaret Mary’s Church, 33 Arch St. Keene. Burial will take place later in the family lot in Scranton, PA. In place of flowers the family would prefer donations be made in memory of Francis R. Milano to: St. Jude Children’s Hospital 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN. 38105.
