Donna J (Butynski) Robinson, 60, of Turners Falls, and formerly of Greenfield, MA. and Winchester, NH. died on Thursday, October 19, 2017. She passed peacefully after a period of declining health.
Donna was born the daughter of the late Elizabeth (Farrell) and George Butynski on April 15, 1957 in Montague, MA. She was educated in Northfield where she attended local schools.
On May 30, 1987 she exchanged vows with Russell Robinson in Sullivan, NH. They were married in a simple service with close family and friends in attendance. Sadly, Russell passed on October 12, 1998 after twelve years of
marriage.
Donna was a stay at home mother for many years. As her children grew older she worked as a personal care attendant for many families.
For fun Donna enjoyed going to bingo. Time was spent at the beach, being with family and she was always up for a good fireworks display. She loved to bake, especially cakes. Craft projects were always in the works and strawberries were picked in the spring and apples in the fall.
Mrs. Robinson is survived by her six children; Stacey Jones and her husband Joe of Turners Falls, MA. Michelle Stetson and her husband Mike of Hinsdale, Nichole Newton-Swearengin of Weaubleau, MO. Ronnie Winship of Turners Falls, MA. John Lapenas and his wife Sara of Winchester and Jessica Robinson of Turners Falls, MA. A sister, Kathy Wood of Cumming, GA. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, one great-grandchild, cousins,
nieces, nephews, extended family and numerous friends. Donna is pre-deceased by her sister Karen Dotson who passed in 1995.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday, October 22 from 6 to 8pm in the funeral chapel. A graveside service will be held on Monday October 23 at 10am. at Oak Hill Cemetery, Pine St. West Swanzey, NH. 03446. Flowers will gladly be accepted.
