Ann M. (Richards) Douglass, 84, of Troy and formerly of Chester and Bellows Falls, Vermont and New York died peacefully at Cheshire Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Keene after a brief period of declining health.
Ann was born the daughter of the late Dora (Billings) Richards and John Picardo on April 23, 1934 in Scranton, PA. She was educated in Syracuse, New York where she graduated from Central High School class of 1953.
She worked for the Read Ex Company in Chester Vt. as a secretary for many years before retiring in 1999.
She enjoyed working on crossword puzzles, playing bingo and listening to music.
The family would like to than the staff at Maplewood Nursing Home in Westmoreland for 
the superb care of their mom over the past three years.
Mrs. Douglass is survived by her children; David Douglass and his wife Sabrina of Chester, VT. Michael Douglass of Westminster, VT. Allen Douglass and his significant other Christine Lachkey of Newton Highlands, MA. and William Douglass and his significant other Carole-Ann Mastroianni of St. Johnsbury, VT. A sister, Arlene Redmond and her husband Larry of Dewitt, N.Y.. In addition, she leaves; ten grandchildren, several great grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
A graveside service in the family lot with Christian burial rights will be held on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at 11am. in Mountain View Cemetery, Rt. 12 N. Main St. Troy, NH. 03465.
