Angela Marie Venuti
Angela Marie Venuti 59 of West Swanzey died peacefully with the love of her family at hand on April 14, 2011 at Keene Genesis Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Keene.
She was born the daughter of Helen (LeFave) and Armando Venuti on August 23, 1951 in El Paso, Texas. As a child the family moved to New Hampshire and she was educated in Salem. She graduated from Salem High School class of 1970. Ms. Venuti has been a resident of Swanzey for the past four years and lived in Keene for fifteen years prior.
Angela enjoyed crocheting, needle point and knitting. She would spend time camping in the White Mountains. She was an avid reader and enjoyed taking country rides in the car. Angela could be found walking along the river in Surry and she was fond of traveling when time permitted. She enjoyed family vacations, especially going to Virginia, Florida and New York. Angela was a single mother who enjoyed being with her children. She was involved with her girls in Brownies and Girl Scouts not to mention many school activities. Angela enjoyed the mystique of Tarot Card reading for friends and family and going to watch car racing. She was a member of the Women’s Auxiliary of the American Legion, Gordon-Bissell Post #4 in Keene for many years.
Ms. Venuti is survived by her three children; Lisa Ellis and her husband George of Swanzey, Patricia O’Brien and her husband John of Alstead and Paula McLeer of Allenstown. She is also survived by her partner in life for the past 11 years, Mr. Robert Marr. Angela’s mother, Helen Venuti of Bradenton, Florida will miss her daughter. She leaves her siblings Dennis Jones and his wife Diane of South Carolina, Victoria Harlow and her husband Richard of Florida, Michelle Murphy and her husband Robert of Salem, NH. and Jeanne Venuti of Keene. Her five grandchildren and 2 step-grandchildren, Jessica, Jennifer, Robert, Adrianna, Dominic, Ian and Heather will miss their grandmother, not to mention her aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends. Angela is pre-deceased by her father Armando Venuti Sr. who passed in 2008 and a brother Armando Venuti Jr. who passed in 1995 and her former companion David Logan Sr.
A celebration of life service will be held on Sunday, April 17, 2011 at 1:30pm. in the Keene Unitarian Universalist Church, 69 Washington St. Keene, NH. 03431. In lieu of flowers donation should be made in memory of Angela M. Venuti to the Service Credit Union, 403 Winchester St. Keene, NH. 03431.
