Cindy L. Martin, 57, of Keene and formerly a long time resident of Swazney died on Saturday, July 9, 2016 at Cheshire Dartmouth Medical Center in Keene. She passed peacefully with the love and compassion of family by her side after a period of declining health.
Cindy was born the daughter of the late Martha (Ware) and Elwin Martin on March 29, 1959 in Keene. She was educated in Swanzey and graduated from Monadnock Regional High School class of 1977.
Cindy has worked in the banking industry for thirty five years in various roles and positions. Currently, she was working at the NBT Bank in Keene as the Assistant Branch Manager where she loved to see her customers, friends and co-workers. Cindy liked to stay busy, she also worked for Steven Burgeron Financial Services in Keene.
When Cindy wasn’t working or attending family events she could be found shopping or taking trips to the casino. Time was always made available for her family, especially her niece and nephews.
Miss. Martin is survived by her sister, Sue E. Peaks of Marlborough. Her brother, Jon Martin and his wife Tauni of Winchester. Her niece and nephews; Andrea A. Peaks of Milwakee, WI. Jeffrey E. Martin, James R. Martin, Jason W. Martin and Jonathan W. Martin all of Winchester. Her great nephew, Dominic Martin of Winchester. In addition she leaves cousins, extended family and numerous friends.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, July 14, 2016 from 5 to 8pm. In the Cheshire Family Funeral Chapel, 44 Maple Ave. Keene, NH. 03431. Burial will be held privately in the family lot at Oak Hill Cemetery, Swanzey. Flowers will gladly be accepted. However, the family would prefer donations be made in memory of Cindy L.
