Michael D. Austin
Michael D. Austin, 26, of St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands and formerly of Hinsdale died on Friday, December 18, 2015 in the comfort of his home.
He was born the son of Margaret A. Meg (Coty) and Leroy M. Mike Austin on October 10, 1989 in Keene. He was educated locally and graduated from Monadnock Regional High School class of 2008.
Mike was employed as a health spa associate at the Lazule Health Spa in St. Thomas for the past 2 and a half years.
He loved anything associated with the beach and the ocean and that is what brought him to the islands. Time was spent boating, cliff diving and a variety of other ocean excursions. When he lived locally time was spent hunting, fishing and riding the trails on ATVs. Mike spent many hours playing and attending to his dog, Moose.
Mr. Austin is survived by his mother, Margaret A. Meg Robinson and her husband Richard of North Stratford, NH. His father, Leroy M. Mike Austin and his wife Lorraine of Hinsdale. Grandparents; Leroy and Marjorie Austin of Stoddard and Margaret Peggy Coty of Brattleboro, VT. In addition he leaves cousins, extended family and friends. Mike is pre-deceased by his grandfather Daniel Coty who passed earlier.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at 1:00 PM in the family lot at Evergreen Cemetery, Richmond Rd. Winchester. There are no calling hours. Flowers will gladly be accepted. However, the family would prefer donations be made in memory of Michael D. Austin to: South Western Community Services (MADAC), 63 Community Way, Keene, NH. 03431.
