Walter F. Maki

Walter F. Maki, 78, of Winchester, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 26, 2022, with the love of his family by his side after a brief period of declining health.

Walter was born a son to the late Lillian (Pelton) and Sulo Maki on February 26, 1944, in Troy.

He was a business owner of Walts Auto Body Shop as a Mechanic from 1977 to 1984. Walter also worked at Franklin Pierce University as maintenance for 15 years.

Walter always loved to work on cars, he would buy and sell cars often and was big on helping others no matter how big or small the task was.

Mr. Maki is survived by his two children Walter D. Maki of Keene and Martisha Williams of Oakdale, CT, his three siblings Margaret Perry of Concord, Ellen Emerson of Holice, and William Maki of Winter Haven, Fl, his three grandchildren Kayla A. Phillips, Ariana R. Gibson, and Nicholas X. Willams, along with many cousins, nieces, nephews, extended friends and family. Walter is predeceased by his son Nathan A. Maki who passed away on April 13, 2016 along with his two brothers Author Maki and John Maki.
