Sonja Faye Johnson 39 of Marlborough died in the comfort of her home on November 17, 2010.

She was born the daughter of Cheryl A. (Hubbard) and Ronald L. Johnson on May 3, 1971 in Keene. She was educated locally and attended Monadnock Regional High School in Swanzey.

She was formerly married to Mahmond Hamza.

Sonja was a quiet reserved person who kept to herself. She loved her two cats; Elvis and Lalla. She liked living in her community of Marlborough. The towns people and town officials were very good to her, especially the police chief and town ambulance service.

Ms. Johnson is survived by her mother, Cheryl A. (Hubbard) Johnson of Northfield, VT. Her father, Ronald L. Johnson Sr. and his wife Karen of Roxbury, VT and Morristown, FL. Her brother Ronald L. Johnson Jr. and his wife Pamela of Surry. She also leaves her nieces; Taylor, Nesma, Netta, Nora and Anrr of Brooklyn, N.Y. Her former husband Mahmond Hazma of Egypt.

She is also survived by extended family and friends.

A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, November 4, 2010 at 11a.m. at the First Baptist Church, 17 North Main St. Troy, NH. There are no calling hours. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers monitory donations should be made in memory of Sonja F. Johnson to the Marlborough and Harrisville Ambulance Service, 149 Main St. Marlborough, NH. 03455.
