Sandra (Sandy) F. (Horton) Francis 47 of Winchester died peacefully in the comfort of her home with the love of her husband, family and close friends at hand on November 11, 2011. She had been a Winchester resident for all of her life.

Sandy was born the daughter of Nancy R. (Nash) and George W. Horton on November 27, 1963 in Manchester, NH. She was educated in Winchester and graduated from Thayer High School class of 1982.

She worked in many roles and positions over the years. Her last place of employment was with the National Grange Company in Keene. Where she worked as a computer operator. She will be most remembered for her work at the Elmm Community Center in Winchester where she worked as the director managing day to day activities and the bowling alley.

Sandy exchanged her vows with Henry J. Audet on January 11, 1997 at their home in Winchester with family and friends in attendance to celebrate the day.

She was a person of faith who was a member of with the United Church of Winchester. She sang with the church choir for many years. In her free time she would coach Peewee Baseball. She loved children and would help in many roles to enhance childrens lives. She loved her family and being with friends. Sandy had a unique sense of humor and this was brought out even as she was weak at the end. She was a good friend and wonderful wife.

Sandy is survived by her husband, Henry J. Audet of Winchester. She also leaves a son, Timothy G. Francis of Winchester. Grandchildren; Skylar Francis, Rhianna Francis. Nephews; Jonathan Horton and Christopher Horton. Her sister, Sheron J. Prentice and her husband Donald of Winchester. Step-mother, Lauren Reese. A life long best friend, Joyce Polaski of Keene. Sandys special friend and personal care attendant, Melisa Morgan of Keene. In addition she leaves aunts, extended family and friends She is pre-deceased by her parents, Nancy and George Horton. And grandmother, Margaret Nash.

At Mrs. Francis request there will be no calling hours. A public grave side service will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2011 at 11am. in the family lot at Evergreen Cemetery, Richmond Rd. Winchester. Flowers will gladly be accepted. However, donations should be made in memory of Sandra F. Francis to Hospice and Community Services 312 Marlborough St. Keene, NH. 03431.
