Ruth T. (LaFlamme) Laroche, 87, of Agawam, MA and formerly of Chicopee, MA, died on Sunday, February 16, 2020, at Charlene Manor Extended Care Facility in Greenfield, MA. She died peacefully with her family by her side after a period of declining health.
Ruth was born the daughter of the late Mamie (LaFountain) LaFlamme on December 21, 1932, in Conifer, N.Y. She lived in Tupperlake N.Y. until she married in 1952 and moved to Massachusetts.
Ruth worked in paper mill operations at Avery Dernison for twenty years.
She enjoyed animals and her pets, playing bingo, playing cards, time spent with her grandchildren and in her younger days, she enjoyed dancing.
Mrs. Laroche is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Richter and her partner, John Timberlake of Bernardston. Her brother, George LaFlamme and his wife, Alice of Tupperlake, N.Y. Her grandchildren; Aubrey Neil, Austen and Sandra Richter. Her great-grandchildren; Tristan and Kole. In addition, she leaves; cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. She is pre-deceased by her husband, Armond Laroche. She is also pre-deceased by her siblings; Raymond “Red” LaFlamme, Leon LaFlamme, Percy LaFlamme, and Annabell Russell.
