Jill K. (Oliveria) Meade 45, of Marlow and formerly of Naugatuck, Connecticut. died on Wednesday, February 25, 2015 in the comfort of her parents home. She passed peacefully in familiar surroundings with family and friends at her side.
Jill was born the daughter of Loretta “Holly” H. (Lizotte) and Richard Oliveria on October 7, 1969 in Danbury, CT. She was educated in Ct. and graduated from Bethel High School in Bethel, CT. class of 1987.
On May 5, 1992 Jill exchanged vows with Neil W. Meade. They were married with family and friends in attendance in Danbury where they made a home. Sadly, Neil passed on August 8, 1998 after six years of marriage.
Jill worked at the Marriot Courtyard Hotel in Keene. She had been in a position in the laundry department where she was affectionately known as the laundry queen. Jill had been with Marriot for five years.
She was a bowler with her husband. Time was spent watching NASCAR and she went on yearly trips to the Dover 500 in Delaware with Neil and friends. She loved kids and for a time she was a school bus driver. Jill was a giver. She would help anyone who asked and some who were to proud to ask. She was a lover of life and brought great joy to family and friends.
Mrs. Meade is survived by her parents, Richard and Loretta “Holly” Lizotte-Oliveria of Marlow. A sister, Amy L. Oliveria of Naugatuck, CT. Grandmother, Colleen Lizotte of Bethel, CT. Her nephew, Zachary N. Oliveria of Marlow and a niece Susan G. Meade of Texas. She will be missed by her dog, Marty, uncles, aunts, cousins, extended family and numerous friends. She is pre-deceased by her grandparents; Edward Lizotte, 2009, Adelle Oliveria, 2005 and Antonio Oliveria, 1976.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday, March 1, 2015 from 1 to 3pm. with a celebration of life service to follow at 3pm. all in the funeral chapel. Flowers will gladly be accepted.
