Glenora “Glennie” T. (Zofrea) Henry

Glenora “Glennie” T. (Zofrea) Henry, 74, a resident of Keene, and formerly a long-time resident of Swanzey, passed away on Friday, February 28, 2020 at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon. She died peacefully surrounded by her loving family.

Glennie was born in Pittsfield, MA., the daughter of the late Margaret (Betters) and Francis Zofrea on November 15, 1945. She attended Pittsfield High School and graduated with the class of 1964. Glennie later graduated from the University of Massachusetts at which time she worked with elementary school students in the area of physical education. Glennie then transitioned into a career of real estate working for the Masiello Group as a realtor for twenty three years before retiring in 2011.

Glennie enjoyed days in the sun tending to her flower gardens or indulging in an occasional poolside book. She enjoyed time with family and friends especially when gatherings included a dance floor. Glennie was well traveled, but preferred to vacation where the land met the sea and the palm trees provided shade from the warm tropical sun.

Mrs. Henry is survived by her son, Garrett Henry and his wife, Joyce of Franklin, as well as her daughter Cortney French, her husband Christopher and their children Makenna and Chloe of Munsonville. Her sister, Pamela Burton and her husband Michael of Pittsfield, MA. Her grandchildren; Ethan and Reese Henry of Franklin. In addition, she leaves; cousins, nieces and nephews, extended family and many friends. She is pre-deceased by her husband, Robert Henry III, who died on April 3, 2012.

In keeping with her wishes, there will be no calling hours. Due to coronavirus, all services are postponed until further notice. Updates will be placed on our website and in the local newspapers as soon as the dates and times are confirmed.

Flowers will be gladly accepted. However, the family would prefer donations be made in memory of Glennie T. Henry to:
