Jacques J. (Jake-Lumpy) Thibeault Jr. 59 of Keene and formerly of Richmond and Swanzey died peacefully while sleeping after a period of failing health. He passed in the comfort of his home with family close at hand.
Jake was born the son of Fay (Dauberman) and Jacques J. Thibeault Sr. on February 27, 1952 in Ticonderoga, N.Y. He was educated in Hague, N.Y. and graduated from Hague High School class of 1970.
He took his vows to Claudia M. (Barnish) on March 17, 1990 at a quiet, private service. They have been happily married for 21 years.
Mr. Thibeault was gainfully employed by the Timkin Co. in Keene as a machinist for twenty one years before retiring in 2007.
Lumpy as his friends affectionately called him enjoyed being with all types of people. He especially loved to be with family and close friends. He was a man of great humor and was a kind loving soul. Jake loved his Ford pick up trucks and John Deer tractors. Lumpy was a man of nature. He enjoyed cutting wood and wood working. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Mr. Thibeault is survived by his wife Claudia M. Thibeault of Keene. His three children; Katherine Grabda and her husband Mark of Plattsburgh, N.Y., Nicole Thibeault of San Antonio, TX. and Jacqueline Thibeault of Winchester. He also leaves four sisters; Sylvia Puzio of New Britain, CT., Theresa Frazier of Hague, N.Y., Colleen Burns of Plainfield, CT. and Bonnie Martucci of Hague, N.Y.. His only grandchild Taylor Johnson of Winchester will miss his presence along with his nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends. He is pre-deceased by his father, Jacques J. Thibeault Sr. who passed on June 1, 2010.
A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, August 6, 2011 at 3pm. in the funeral home. There are no calling hours. Donations can be made in memory of Jacques J.
