William “Billy” L. Rancourt Jr. 80, of Westmoreland, NH. passed away September 24, 2018 at his home surrounded by family following an 18 year battle with cancer.

Billy was born in Brattleboro, VT. on October 9th, 1937 the son of the late Lillian (Jones) and William Rancourt Sr.

He married Judy Wilcox on June 14th, 1969 after a short courtship. They were married for forty-nine years.

He worked for Ball & Wixon, Basin Bros. the Town of Walpole, NH. and Pat Rawson Construction. Billy was as an equipment operator and truck driver.

Billy never met a stranger and knew people wherever he went. He loved camping, traveling and trading stories and laughter with family and friends. He could be found outside working on various projects including his tractors and other equipment. He had a long term successful small business making maple syrup.

Mr. Rancourt leaves his loving wife, Judy Rancourt of Westmoreland. His son, Chad Rancourt of Delanson, NY. His daughter Cara Baker and her husband, Chris of Milton, NH. and his beloved granddaughter, Natalie Baker. He leaves a sister, Joan Richardson and her husband Howard. A brother Jack Rancourt and his wife, Elizabeth. Billy is also survived by a sister in-law, Natalie Rancourt as well as cousins, many nieces and nephews extended family and friends.

A gathering to celebrate the life of William Rancourt will be held on Saturday, October 20, 2018 from 2 to 4pm. in the funeral chapel. Burial will take place on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at 2pm. in the family lot at South Village Cemetery, Glebe Rd. Westmoreland, NH. 03467. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in memory of William L.
