Wendy Otto
Wendy Otto 54 a long time resident of Fitzwilliam died on Thursday, July 18, 2013 at Cheshire Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Keene after a period of failing health.
Wendy was born the daughter of the late Priscilla (Walker) and Luther M. Otto III on June 27, 1959 in Fitchburg, MA. She attended schools in Fitchburg and eventually earned a Bachelors Degree from Mount Wachusett College and several other Degrees.
Wendy worked as a computer specialist and in secretarial positions for many years for the Department of Defense before retiring in Fitzwilliam.
Wendy attended services at the Fitzwilliam Community Church and was a member at Crossways Church in Keene. She was a very private person. She was known for freely giving of her time to support church suppers and helping with the needs of others. Wendy was also an animal lover.
Ms. Otto is survived by her three siblings; Luther M. Otto IV and his wife Chris Lyons of Royalston, MA. Tracy O. Clukey of Fitzwilliam and Robert W. Otto and his wife Bonita of Florence, MA. In addition she leaves nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Wendy is pre deceased by her brother in-law Andrew Clukey.
A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2013 at 10am. in the Cheshire Family Funeral Chapel. Burial will take place later at the family lot in Williamsport, PA. Flowers will gladly be accepted. However, the family would prefer donations be made in memory of Wendy Otto to the Monadnock Humane Society, 101 West Swanzey Rd.
