For the past 16 years, Wayne worked for Ingram Construction Company in Swanzey as a Project Superintendent; which he considered the job of his dreams. Earlier in his career he worked at Frazier’s Furniture and this is where he realized his love of woodcraft. Wayne was an artisan and builder of quality cabinets and finish work.
He was a kind and soft-spoken man in all aspects of his life and it was only natural that he found mentoring young people most rewarding. Wayne was a foster parent for children in the Monadnock Region for over seventeen years.
He was an avid sports fan and he enjoyed playing basketball, baseball, and softball in the local area. He was the first basketball player at Monadnock Regional High School to score 1,000 points before the 3-point field goal was introduced.
He enjoyed spending time at the youth sports with his son Carter and helping wherever needed. Wayne also enjoyed family vacations and road trips; especially trips to Disney.
