Theresa M. (Dubois) Kellogg 80 of West Swanzey died late in the evening of March 22, 2010 with the love and devotion of her family at her side.

She was born the daughter of Helen (Pelletier) and Joseph Dubois in Claremont, NH. on November 13, 1929. Theresa was educated locally and graduated from Keene High School, class of 1947.

Soon after graduating from high school Miss. Dubois took her vows to Mr. Fred. R. Kellogg. They were married on November 22, 1947 at St. Anthony’s Roman Catholic Church in West Swanzey with many in attendance. Fred passed in 1984 after 37 happy years of marriage.

Theresa had many jobs over her life time. For eleven years she worked at the Homestead Woolen Mill in West Swanzey. She was also gainfully employed at the Cheshire Medical Center for fifteen years. Theresa had worked up until recently at the Autumn Passage Elder Care as a Licensed Nursing Assistant. She enjoyed going to work taking care of those who were unable to care for themselves. She has been with them for the past fifteen years.

Above all Theresa was a mother and grandmother. She loved her family. She was a member of St. Anthony’s Church for many years. In her free time she would sew, making cloths for dogs. She also made wedding dresses and produced interiors for cars and boats. Theresa enjoyed swimming and camping. She could also be found reading all types of books.

Mrs. Kellogg is survived by her three children; Linda Cutter and her husband Larry of West Swanzey, Joseph Kellogg and his wife Hope of New Ipswich, NH. and Rodney Kellogg and his wife Denise of Alstead, NH. Nana will be remembered by her ten grandchildren, twenty two great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Her presence will also be missed by her nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. She is pre-deceased by her siblings; Pauline Stevens and Gene Dubois.

A grave side service with Christian Burial Rights will be held on Monday at 11am.m. in Mountain View Cemetery, Rt. 32 South, Swanzey. Flowers will gladly be accepted, at the families request donations should be made in memory of Theresa M. Kellogg to the Salvation Army, 15 Roxbury Plaza, Keene, NH. 03430.
