Terry L. Pickard

Terry L. Pickard 34 a lifelong resident of Winchester died unexpectedly on April 24, 2013.

He was born the son of Mildred E. (Frey) and Lynn C. Pickard on August 7, 1978 in Keene. Terry was educated locally and graduated from Thayer High School class of 1997.

Terry owned his own logging business, Pickard Logging, before partnering with Wayne Snow and forming Pickard-Snow Logging in 2012. He was one of the owner/operators mostly working in the field as a lumberjack. He also worked at the Four Rex Farm in Hadley, Massachusetts for many years. Terry was a hard worker getting his work ethic from his grandfather.

Terry was a man of nature and always spent that time with friends. He loved to be in the outdoors riding his ATV. Summertime was motorcycle season and going on charity runs or hitting the golf course for worthy causes. When fall arrived he went hunting. The snow season was a time for being on the trails, up north, on a snowmobile. Terry loved to be with his family and his close friends, always lending a hand and helping others. He had a soft spot in his heart for children and animals; especially his dogs Skunk and Shelby. His infectious smile and quick quotes will be missed by many.

Mr. Pickard is survived by his parents, Millie Frey of Orange, MA. and his father Lynn Pickard of Punta Gorda, FL. He also leaves his brother; Todd Pickard of Winchester and Lynn P.J. Pickard of Winchester in addition to uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family and numerous friends.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, May 6, 2013 at 6pm. in the Cheshire Family Funeral Chapel, 44 Maple Ave. Keene, NH. 03431. www.cheshirefamilyfuneralhome.com.
