Shirley A. LeBeau Paire, 69, of Keene NH passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on January 1, 2023, at Cheshire Hospital in Keene.
She was born in Hanover, NH on October 20th,1953 to Eugene and Antoinette LeBeau. She moved to Keene when she was young and attended Catholic and Keene schools. She married her lifelong soulmate and partner Robert L. Paire on October 4, 1971. Bob passed away on February 15th of 2012.
Together they moved to Cabot Vermont where they lived for the next 35 years building their home and working the land. Their passion of organic gardening eventually evolved into a business in the late 90’s. With the help and support of her husband, Shirley’s Produce was established. She sold organic vegetables and berries to local stores, coops, neighbors, and friends.
She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She enjoyed hosting celebrations, and she loved a good party. She also enjoyed cooking and baking and was known especially for her spaghetti sauce and pies.
She was an adventurous soul, enjoyed traveling, she loved the ocean whether it be Old Orchard in ME or a warm tropical location such as Hawaii, Mexico, or the Caribbean.
She is survived by her son Uriah R. Paire, and his partner Aimee K. Ducharme, grandchildren Molly R. Paire and Marc R. Cruz Ducharme all of Cabot VT. A sister Barbara Hayes and her husband Patrick of San Diego, CA., three sister in-laws Linda M. Tolman, and Cathie Beam of Keene, NH and Jennifer J. Rudgers and her husband Bryan of North Swanzey, NH., and several nieces and nephews.
She was a loyal and good friend to all that knew her, helping many who were less fortunate than herself. She will be missed dearly.
