Sally A. (Whitten) Bergeron, 70, of Chesterfield and formerly of Sullivan died on Sunday, June 18, 2017 at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon. She passed peacefully after a period of declining health with her family near.
Sally was born the daughter of the late Pauline (Packard) and Norman Whitten on March 8, 1947 in Keene. She was educated locally and graduated from Monadnock Regional High School class of 1964.
On December 1, 1979 she exchanged vows with Richard E. Bergeron. They were married in a simple service and have been married for thirty-seven years.
Sally worked as a private care giver to many families though out the Monadnock Region for many years. She retired in 2001 after giving so freely of her time to many.
She was happy shopping and she would a give freely of time. Sally was most happy being at home attending to the needs of her family.
Mrs. Bergeron is survived by her husband Richard E. Bergeron of Chesterfield. Her children; Timothy Baronoski and his wife Melinda of Gilsum and Christopher Bergeron of Chesterfield. Her grandchildren; Tyler Baronoski of Keene and Linzee Reinhart and her husband Tyler of Charlestown. A great grandson, Johnathan Reinhart of Charlestown. Her siblings; Donald Whitten of Swanzey and Leonard Whitten of Texas. In addition she leaves cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, June 23, 2017 from 6 to 8pm. in the funeral chapel. In keeping with Sally’s wishes there are no formal services and burial will be private.
