Peter C. Massie, 46, a life-time resident of Keene died unexpectedly on Thursday, May 17, 2018 at Cheshire Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Keene.
Peter was born the son of the late Phyllis B. (Smith) and Bryce W. Massie on February 21, 1972 in Keene. He was educated locally and graduated from Keene High School class of 1990.
He was the owner and operator of Carpenter for Hire in Keene for over twenty-five years.
He had many interests and hobbies. He was a Master Carpenter, great story teller, outdoor adventurer. Time was spent hunting and fishing, building model cars and admiring nature. He loved animals especially his cat. He put great time into every project he was passionate about. Those he loved, he loved deeply. He would help anyone he could.
Mr. Massie is survived by his children; Paige L. Wallace of Dover, Justin B. Massie of Daniels, West VA. And Molly Massie of Daniels, West Virginia. His father, Bryce W. Massie of Keene. In addition, he leaves; cousins, extended family and friends.
In keeping with Peter’s wishes there are no calling hours. A gathering to celebrate Pete’s life will be held on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at 2pm. at Kingsbury Mountain, 125 Kingsbury Rd.
