He was born a son to the late Jacqueline Wheelock and Eugene Sedlewicz on December 29, 1954,12 in Laconia, NH.
Paul enlisted in the United States Coast Guard. He served his country with honor and distinction during the Vietnam War, earning the National Defense Service Medal. Paul was honorably discharged at the rank of E-1 on November 10, 1975.
On January 30, 1990, Paul exchanged vows with the love of his life, Linda B. Frischman. They had a simple service in Caldwell, NJ with family and friends celebrating them.
Paul enjoyed his time working as a ski technician at the Razor Tune Ski Shop in Stockholm, NJ for 5 years. As a young man, he worked as a carpenter but worked most of his life in seasonal positions in various Ski and Cycling shops.
Paul enjoyed spending his free time outdoors, going skiing, mountain biking, sailing, surfing, and fishing. He also liked to play tennis and pickleball with friends. Even though he played it badly, he enjoyed playing his guitar for his favorite audience…his dogs.
Mr. Sedlewicz is survived by his wife, Linda B. Sedlewicz of Spofford; his three siblings, Michael, and his wife, Ruth of Bear, DE. Scott and his husband, Jerry Bailey of N. Brunswick, NJ, and Heidi Solomon and her husband Walter of Atlanta, GA. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. Paul is pre-deceased by his parents, Jacqueline Wheelock and Eugene Sedlewicz.
A burial will take place at 11:00 am on Friday, November 17, 2023, in the family lot at Mountain View Cemetery, Old Homestead Hwy, Swanzey, NH 03446. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made out to the
