Pat entered the Dominican Sisters Order in Plainville, MA. She later was moved to St. Catherines in Kentucky where she assumed a role as a teacher. In an effort to fulfill other life goals Pat left her duties as a member of the Dominican Sisters Order but continued relationships with the friends she had made over the years. She stayed very devout in her faith and her love of god. After sisterhood she worked in a few different positions but came back to teaching. She worked for over twenty years as a teacher for the City of Keene, School District 29 at the Marlborough Middle School. It was known with her students and co workers that she had an unconditional love for them. Pat retired in 2004 to enjoy her golden years. As a teacher she was well known by the staff and students for her great wit and for the variety shows she put on. Pat was a giver of life. She would not pass a soul in the street without a greeting, a smile and a hello. In a letter written to Pat from Mr. Ed Davis; a former student and Police Commissioner for the City of Boston, MA. said You had a profound impact and influence in my life.
On June 29, 1991 she exchanged vows with Lawrence C. McClure at the Community Church of Harrisville. They were married with eight clergymen and women in the presence of family and friends. They have been married for almost twenty two years.
