Patricia A. (Gregory) LaCroix, 79, originally from Winchester and formerly of Las Vegas, NV. passed away peacefully while resting on Sunday, September 24, 2023, at Maplewood Nursing Home, Westmoreland, with the love of family near.
She was born to the late Mary (Walsh) and Ralph Gregory on June 22, 1944, in Stamford,
CT. and moved to Winchester when a young child. Patricia was educated in Winchester and graduated from Thayer High School, class of 1962.
On October 4, 1988, Patricia exchanged vows with Leo M. Lacroix. They had a simple service in Las Vegas, NV. And were happily married for 23 years until Leo passed away on May 7, 2012. Patricia ran the coffee shop at Cheshire Medical Hospital for 17 years and worked at Target in Las Vegas for 9 years until she retired in 2010. Patricia enjoyed going to the casinos, playing games on her computer, and playing cards and Bingo. She also loved to read.
Mrs. LaCroix is survived by her two children, Todd M. Pickering of Las Vegas, NV. and Scott Pickering and wife, Renee of Webster, MA., She is also survived by her grandchildren, Seth Pickering, Alex Pickering, Justin Pickering, and Cody Pickering. In addition, she left her step-children: Leo LaCroix Jr. of Vt. Diane Milliken of NH, and Mary Moore of VT and their children, Ashley Moore, Michael Moore, Justin Milliken, and Shane LaCroix. She is predeceased by her husband, parents, and two siblings, Ralph Gregory, and Leona Lueddekke.
A graveside service will be at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at the Evergreen
Cemetery, 60 Forest Lake Rd. Winchester, NH. 03470. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Maplewood Activity Fund, 201 River Rd. Westmoreland, NH. 03467.
