Nancy L. (Alley) Perry, 51, of Swanzey, died unexpectedly on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at Cheshire Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Keene. She passed peacefully with the love of family near after a period of declining health.
Nancy was born the daughter of Beverly (Wilson) and the late Lawrence Alley Sr. on May 23, 1967 in Fayetteville, N.C. She was educated locally and graduated from Monadnock Regional High School class of 1986.
She worked at Country Way / McKerley’s Nursing Home in Keene as a Certified Nursing Assistant for many years before retiring in 2010.
She liked to cook and was an avid baker. Time was spent shopping, being with family and her grandchildren. Nancy was known for having a big heart giving freely of her time to help others in need.
Ms. Perry is survived by her children; Kevin A. Alley-Perry of Keene and Lashaunda Alley-Perry of Brattleboro, VT. Her Mother, Beverly Alley of Swanzey. Nancy’s siblings; Dean Alley and his wife Gina of Camden, N.C. Larry H. Alley and his wife Mandy of Swanzey and Cindy Joslin of Swanzey. Her grandchildren; Hayden Robinson and Triton Dunches-Alley. In addition, she leaves; cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
In keeping with Nancy’s wishes there are no formal services. A gathering to celebrate Nancy’s life will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2018 from 5 to 9 in the Whitcomb Hall, 17 Main St. Swanzey, NH. 03446.
