Matthew R. Morrison-Squires

Matthew R. Morrison-Squires 18 of Bernardston and formerly of Greenfield died on Sunday, April 15, 2012.

He was born the son of Kimberly A. (Battistoni) Squires and Richard Morrison Jr. in Northampton, Massachusetts on April 20, 1993. Early in his childhood he was legally adopted by Gary R. Squires after his mother remarried.

Matt was educated locally and attended schools in Bernardston and Greenfield receiving his General Education Diploma in 2011.

Matts faith revolved around nature. He loved to be in the outdoors hiking and exploring the natural beauty of the earth. His free time was spent hunting and fishing. He liked to play his guitar and play video games with friends. Matt could be found at the Millers Falls Rod and Gun Club sometimes with his family or even just by himself to walk around and gather his thoughts. Matt loved to be with his friends, especially his best friend in life Daemon Nubile of Bernardston.

Mr. Morrison-Squires is survived by his parents, Kimberly and Gary Squires of Bernardston. His father, Richard Morrison Jr. of Bernardston. He also leaves his seven siblings and their spouses; Merl Gray of Turners Falls, Angelina White of Searcy, AR. Tawnie Oden and her husband Kevin of Kensett, AR. Amber Francis and her husband William of Millers Falls, Brittany Morrison and her fiance of Millers Falls, Randall Morrison of Millers Falls and Briana Hanlon of Swanzey, NH. He leaves his grandparents; Stanley and Peggy Gradowski of erving, Paul and Sandi Battistoni of Newport, TN. Vicki Morrison of Easthampton, MA. in addition to cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

A celebration of life gathering will be held on Sunday, May 6, 2012 from 1 to 4pm. at the Millers Falls Rod and Gun Club, 210 Turners Falls Rd. Turners Falls, MA. 01376. In keeping with Matthews values there are no calling hours. Burial will be private. Donations should be made in memory of Matthew R.
