Mary (Ethridge) Bonski, 77, of Ashuelot died Sunday, November 13, 2016 at Applewood Rehabilitation Center in Winchester, NH.
She was born in Hinsdale on November 11, 1938 the daughter of the late Helen (Place) and Lewis Ethridge Sr. She was educated in Hinsdale graduating from Hinsdale High School class of 1957.
She married Andrew Bonski on July 19, 1958 in Ashuelot.
Mary worked in banking for many years in both Vermont and New Hampshire. After retirement she worked at the Hinsdale Elementary School in the cafeteria.
She loved to cook, was an avid reader and loved to spend time with her Grandchildren.
Mrs. Bonski he is survived by her husband Andrew Bonski. A daughter, Brenda Ebbighausen and her husband Brian. Two brothers; Lewis Francis Ethridge Jr. and his wife Irene and James Curtis Ethridge. A sister, Helen Joyce Whitney and her husband Hugh. Two grandchildren, Sara and Matthew Ebbighausen. She was pre-deceased by a son Michael Bonski who passed in 2012 and two brothers, Roswell and Richard Ethridge both passed earlier.
There will be a Liturgy of Christian Burial Thursday, November 17, 2016 at 10:00am. at St. Joseph’s Church / Mary Queen of Peace, 35 Brattleboro Rd. Hinsdale, NH. 03451. Burial will follow in the family lot at Pine Grove Cemetery in Hinsdale, NH. Friends are asked to meet at the church. In keeping with Mary’s wishes there are no calling hours. Donations in memory of Mary Bonski to the charity of one’s choice.
