Marjorie “Marge” L. (Heald) Bosworth

Marjorie “Marge” L. (Heald) Bosworth, 83 of North Swanzey and formerly of Ashburnham, Massachusetts. died on Thursday, December 20, 2018 at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon. She passed peacefully with the love of family near after a brief period of declining health.

Marjorie was born the daughter of the late Edna M. (Hurd) and Edwin Heald on March 11, 1935 in Ashburnham, MA. where she attended Cushing Academy and graduated class of 1953.

She worked at Troy Mills in Troy as a processor of blanket liners for automobile upholstery. Marge retired in 1998 after twenty-three years at the factory. She became a Sentinel carrier after retiring to keep herself busy until around 2010.

She enjoyed camping with family and friends. Watching NASCAR, especially Rusty Wallace. She loved the Boston Red Sox, going to Swamp Bat games and knitting. In her earlier days she was a den mother and leader of the Cub Scouts and Boy scouts of America. She did volunteer work at the Keene Community Kitchen in the food line, as well at the Salvation Army. Time was always made available for her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved watching them all do what they loved as far as sports. She was known as “Nana” to many other than her own. She was exceptionally excited to become a Great Great Grandmother in the summer of 2019.

Ms. Bosworth is survived by her five Children; Kevin M. Cunningham of North Swanzey, Kathi M. Theriault and her husband, Dennis of Ashburnham, MA. Kim E. Donovan and her husband, of ME. Kelley M. Buchanan and her husband, David of Jaffrey, NH. and Nancy L. Freeh and her husband Leo, of Winchester. Her siblings; Ralph Heald of Troy, Eunice Archangelli of Westminster, MA. and Carolann Barber and her husband, Orion of Brattleboro, VT. In addition, she leaves; sixteen grandchildren, twenty-five great grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. She is pre-deceased by her grand-daughter, Kimberlee A. Cutter who passed on May 20, 1982.

In keeping with Marjorie’s wishes there are no calling hours. A celebration of life service will take place on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at 10am. Burial will be private in the spring of 2019. In lieu of flowers we ask that you make a donation in memory of Marge to the Keene Community Kitchen.
