Marilyn L. (Hudson) White, 80, of Keene and formerly of West Swanzey died unexpectedly on Sunday, November 20, 2016 in the comfort of her home.
Marilyn was born the daughter of the late Irene (Simonds) and Ernest Hudson on July 1, 1936 in Winchendon, MA. She was educated in Keene and graduated from Keene High School class of 1954.
She worked as a kitchen aid in the Keene school system before retiring in 1998. Prior, she worked at Beaver’s Answering Service in Keene as a telephone operator for eight years.
She enjoyed being with her family and friends. Time was spent at the local bingo games and she was always up for a trip to the casino. Marilyn was an active member of the Women’s Auxiliary of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Women’s Auxiliary of the American Legion in Keene.
Ms. White is survived by her children; Michael J. Hudson and his wife Dona of Hinsdale and Randall S. Hudson and his significant other Cynthia Lambert of Keene. Her brother, Ernest Hudson Jr. and his wife Joyce of Keene. Her eight grandchildren; Stefanie Ramsay, Michael Hudson Jr. Joshua Hudson, Jessica Giard, Jason Bevis, Nikki Bevis, Amanda Cioffi and Randal Cioffi. In addition she leaves eight great grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
In keeping with Marilyn’s wishes there are no calling hours. Burial will take place privately in the family lot at Oak Hill Cemetery in the Spring of 2017.
