Lindsey J. Williams, 34, a long-time resident of Spofford, died on Friday, December 8, 2017 at Maine Medical Center in Portland, Maine after a period of declining health.

Lindsey was born the daughter of Deborah M. (Clark) and John L. Williams on August 23, 1983 in Peterborough, NH. She was educated locally and graduated from Keene High School class of 2002. Lindsey continued her education in Nashua and graduated from New Hampshire Community Technical College with an Associates of Science in Accounting.

She has been with John R. O’Day for the past seventeen years. Although not technically married they remained committed and inseparable for those treasured years together.

Lindsey had worked as an independent office assistant and book keeper at Geordie Iselin Electric Co.

She enjoyed being with nature. Her time was spent with her cats, doing arts and crafts, working on puzzles and admiring nature. Her favorite color was blue and it was rare to see her wear any other color. Lindsey enjoyed sitting on the porch with family and friends having great conversations. Lindsey loved everyone especially her family and close friends.

 

Ms. Williams is survived by her husband, John R. O’Day of Spofford. Her parents, John and Deborah Williams of Keene. Siblings; Robert Williams and his wife Nicole of Kearns, UT. Aaron Williams and his wife Sayre of College Park, MD. Hamilton Williams and his wife Lisa of Hiram, GA, and Ashley Molburg and her husband Matthew of Lakeville, MA. She is pre-deceased by her grandparents; David and Bernice Clark and Robert and Jean Williams. In addition, she leaves nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, December 15, 2017 from 5:00 to 8:00pm in the Cheshire Family Funeral Chapel.

A service will be held on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at 10:00am at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 130 Summit Rd. Keene, NH. 03431. Flowers will gladly be accepted. However, the family would prefer donations be sent to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for the Humanitarian Aid fund or to the Cheshire County 4-H Council UNH Cooperative Extension, Bob Williams Award, 33 West St. Keene, NH. 03431.
