Leo Arthur Deyo, 84, died peacefully on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at Westwood Care Center in Keene after a battle with Alzheimer’s. Leo was born on January 18, 1933 to Fanny (Robbins) and Wilfred Deyo. He was a graduate of Keene High School. He served in the Marines and was honorably discharged in 1955. He met his wife of 53 years, Eleanor Coddingham in California where they began to raise their 3 sons. They returned to live in Keene, NH. in 1973.

Leo Worked at General Motors, American Optical and Melanson’s, Also he repaired large appliances and had a radiator repair shop and could fix just about anything. He eas an outdoorsman and family man. Eleanor and Leo’s favorite hobbies were riding his motorcycle, fishing and taking rides to look for wildlife. His sons also have his love for fishing, hunting and motorcycles.

He is survived by his wife Eleanor, His son William Deyo and wife, Kelli of Swanzey, son Robert Deyo and wife, Diana of Langdon, son Daniel Deyo and wife, Suzy of Hinsdale. He is also survived by his grandsons Christopher, Andrew, Benjamin and Tyler Deyo. Additionally he leaves a brother and sister, Robert Deyo and Freda Bouffard and several other extended family members. He was predeceased by his parents and siblings Sybil Mills and Wilfred “Johnny” Deyo.

Burial will take place in the family lot with military honors on Saturday, May 20, 2017 at 11am. at Woodlawn Cemetery, Lincoln St. Keene, NH. 03431. A celebration of life will follow at 12noon. in the American Legion, Court St. Keene. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation, 322 8th. Ave. Flr. 7, N.Y. N.Y. 01001.
