Joel M. Kenyon, 52, of Troy and formerly of Keene died unexpectedly on Saturday, March 31, 2018 in the comfort of his home with family near.
Joel was born the son of Elizabeth W. (Robinson) and the late Lloyd C. Kenyon on January 14, 1966 in St. Johnsbury, VT. He was educated at Monroeville Christian Academy in Monroeville, PA. class of 1985. Joel went on in his studies at Baptist Seminary School in Clark Summit, PA. He also attended Keene State College.
He was employed by the Laserlinc Co. of Ohio as a salesman and technical advisor for the past ten years. Prior he had worked at Teleflex in Jaffrey doing calibrations for ten years.
On August 25, 2012 he exchanged vows with Katie Lang. They were married at Wilson Pond in Swanzey with family and friends in attendance. They have been married for five years.
Joel was a man of faith and member of the Trinity Baptist Church in Fitzwilliam. He enjoyed camping, going to the beach and wood working. Time was spent tinkering with electronics. He also enjoyed playing basketball, football and softball. His love in life was being with his wife, children and family.
Mr. Kenyon is survived by his wife, Katie Kenyon of Troy. His mother, Elizabeth W. Kenyon of Winchester. His children; Amber Dussault of Troy, Joshua Kenyon of Troy, Melissa Ellis of Keene, Andrew Kenyon of Keene. Siblings; Jonathan Kenyon of Winchester, Nathan Kenyon and his wife, Shaundrea of Grantham and Deborah Nichols and her husband David of N.C. In addition, he leaves; cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Joel is pre-deceased by his father Lloyd C. Kenyon who passed on March 17, 2008.
In keeping with Joel’s wishes there were no calling hours. A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at 11am. in the Trinity Baptist Church, 108 NH-119, Fitzwilliam, NH. 03447. Donations can be made in memory of Joel M.
