Jodi S. Merchant, 42, a resident of Keene, passed away peacefully and quietly while resting in the comfort of her home on July 1, 2023.
She was born a daughter to Sharon A. Champney and the late Ronald F. Merchant on April 8, 1981, in Florida.
Jodi was formerly working at Timken for the last year. Prior, Jodi was an LNA at local nursing homes in the area one being Genesis Keene Center.
Jodi enjoyed having fun with family and friends. She truly loved the wild side of life and living on the edge. When she was in High School she joined the wrestling team. In her younger years, she also liked to go fishing, bike riding, baking, and cooking along with many other activities. Though it all, the one true thing she loved most of all was spending time with her children whom she loved dearly.
She is survived by her Ex-Husband John Rollins of Washington, her children Tarissa Merchant and Audrionna Rollins both of West Virginia, her mother Sharon Merchant of West Virginia, her maternal grandmother Mary Champney of New Hampshire, her sister Amy Chamberlain of West Virginia, Jennifer Skinner and Alan Skinner of New Hampshire, Becky Dempsey and Bill Dempsey of West Virginia, her half-sister Pamela Mason of New Hampshire and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. She is now rejoined with father Ronald Merchant, her maternal grandfather Arthur Champney and her paternal grandparents.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date with family and friends.
