JoAnn (Ammeraal) Williams, 65, was born on March 14th, 1956 in New York to Raymond (Poppy) Ammeraal and late Joan (Meme). She lived in Winchester, New Hampshire where she quickly made friends with her sunny disposition and infectious laugh. JoAnn passed away unexpectedly in her forever home with her husband on Tuesday, February 1st, 2022.

On July 4th, 1978, JoAnn was married to David Van Kirk for 29 years and raised two children together. On September 19th, 2009, JoAnn exchanged vows with Mark Williams and was happily married for 12 wonderful years.

JoAnn loved all things crafting, cooking, and spending hours shopping for others. This included shopping for craft supplies, embroidering, sewing, and making odds and ends for craft fairs. She would buy an abundance of crafting supplies, about anything with a coupon, and couldn’t resist a good sale. She enjoyed spending time outside by the water in Cape Cod and watching the ships go by.

JoAnn is survived by 2 children from her first marriage, David P Van Kirk II, Becca Van Kirk, 3 step-children from her second marriage, Sharon Goodwin, Mark A. Williams, Christine M. Salquero and, and Kimberly Williams. Her father Raymond Ammeraal and siblings William (Billy) Ammeraal, Raymond Ammeraal and wife Laura, and sister Tina Ammeraal. She also leaves behind 12 grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins. She loved her family. JoAnn is now reunited with her mom Joan (Meme) Ammeraal and brother James (Ducky) Ammeraal.
