Jeffrey “Jeff” J. Robie
Jeffrey “Jeff” J. Robie, 60, of Swanzey and formerly of Derry, N. H. died on Sunday, February 19, 2017 at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. He passed peacefully after succumbing to complications from a severe accident with his family by his side.
Jeff was born the son of Roberta (Lewis) and John Robie on June 7, 1956 in Derry, NH. He was educated in Derry and graduated from Pinkerton Academy class of 1974.
On August 28, 2004 he exchanged vows with Judith A. Myshrall at Hidden Hills in Rindge. They have been together for 22 years. He was married to his first wife, Kimberly Smith for 15 years.
Jeff worked for Digital in Massachusetts and retired after twenty five years of loyal service. After retirement he took positions at local hardware stores in Jaffrey and Peterborough.
He was an accomplished wood worker and finish carpenter. In his leisure time he enjoyed watching western movies, working in his vegetable garden, antiquing and landscaping. He would hunt and fish. He also enjoyed white water rafting and was an accomplished cook.
Mr. Robie is survived by his wife, Judith A. Robie of Swanzey. His children; Jessica M. Garneau and her husband Mike of New Ipswich, Jared E. Robie and his wife Lindsay of Rindge, Brooke B. Malo and her husband Steven of New Market, Jacob J. Robie of Winchester and James J. Myshrall of Swanzey. His mother Roberta Robie of Derry. His siblings; Lynne Szulezewski and her husband Karl of Michigan and Lisa Riley. Eight grandchildren; Jordan Myshrall, Audra Robie, Kali Norton, Brendan Robie, Bradley Howard, Adrienne Robie, Jaxson Garneau and Camille Garneau. Jeffs mother and father inlaw, Robert and Virginia Rouleau of Swanzey. Sister in-laws; Patricia Foskett, Brenda Puente, Donna Eason and Louise Byrnes. In addition he leaves; cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Jeff is pre-deceased by his father, John Robie who passed in 2004.
In keeping with Jeffs wishes there are no formal services. The family will have an informal gathering to pay respects and celebrate Jeffs life on Saturday, February 25, 2017 from 12 noon until 6pm. on Sunday, February 26, 2017 at the family home.
