Jeannie “Ginger” P. (Joslyn) Davis, 44, of Alstead and formerly of Marlow and Newport, passed away unexpectedly after sustaining injuries from an automobile accident on Tuesday, October 31, 2023.
She was born a daughter to Karen E. Wescott on January 24, 1979, in Keene. Jeannie was educated locally at Thayer High School in Winchester class of 1998.
On October 3, 2020, Jeannie exchanged vows with the love of her life Rob E. Davis II. They had a simple service with family and friends at the Keene State Pavilion.
Jeannie enjoyed her time working for the Dunkin Donuts of Keene as their assistant manager for 10 years. Prior, Jeannie worked for Home Hospice and Community Services of Keene and was a Licensed Nursing Assistant for 8 years. She also worked for Keene Center Genesis of Keene for 6 years as a Licensed Nursing Assistant.
Jeannie was a sports fanatic, she enjoyed watching the Boston Bruins, playing softball, and was a part of the Keene Women’s League as their pitcher. She also loved doing arts and crafts, her dogs, and overall was a big animal lover. She also enjoyed mowing her lawn and taking dance classes at Everglow Wellness Center. Jeannie enjoyed life and lived her life to the fullest.
Mrs. Davis is survived by her husband, Rob Davis II of Alstead, her daughter Makayla J. Veith, her two stepchildren, Kylee Davis, and Jacob Davis all of Alstead, her mother Karen Wescott and her husband, Ray Rawling of Keene, and her paternal father, Robert Hopkins Jr. of Swanzey. She is also survived by her siblings, Jennifer H. Joslyn and her significant other, Ryan Madden of Keene, Robert F. Joslyn of S.C., and Courtney Hopkins of Keene, along with many cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Calling hours will be held from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Friday, November 10, 2023, in the Cheshire Family Funeral Chapel, 44 Maple Ave. Keene, NH. 03431.
