Jacob Nicholas Litchfield 14 of Keene died on February 10, 2010 at the Cedarcrest Center for Children with Disabilities after a life long illness. He died comfortably with the love and compassion of many at his side.

Jacob Nicholson Litchfield 14 of Keene died on February 28, 2010 at the Cedarcrest Center for Children with Disabilities after a life long illness. He died comfortably with the love and compassion of many at his side.

Jacob was born the son of Julie L. (Hill) and Scott A. Litchfield in Portland, Maine on June 17, 1995.

He lived in Rochester for the first 18 months of his life and moved to Keene for specialized care.

Young Jacob enjoyed music, especially the Hokey Poky. He liked to watch his fish and would color in his books. He enjoyed having visits with family and friends. Jacob was also interested in bright lights and being cared for by his second family at the Children’s Home.

He is survived by his parents; Scott Litchfield and his wife Dorothy of Rochester, His mother Julie Henderson and her husband Gary of Keene, His Uncles and Aunts; Charles Litchfield and his wife Debbie of Florida, Rodney Litchfield of NH. Wilson Litchfield and his wife Tina of East Rochester and Deborah Clapper and her husband William of Berwick ME. He also leaves his grand mothers, Grammy’s will miss their little boy; Joyce Litchfield of East Rochester and Catherine Hill of Rochester, NH. Meme, Priscilla Roucher of Rochester will also miss Jacob’s presence. Along with his numerous friends at the Cedarcrest Children’s Home.

Services will be held on Saturday, 6 March 2010 at 11a.m. in the Emanuel Advent Christian Church, Eastern Ave. Rochester, NH. Burial will be private. There are no public calling hours. At the request fo the family monetary donations can be made in memory of Jacob N. Litchfield to the Cedarcrest Center for Children with Disabilities, 91 Maple Ave. Keene, NH. 03431 or to the Ronald McDonald House, 250 Brackett St. Portland, ME. 04102.
