Gratia D. (Watkevich) Pariseault, 82, a long-time resident of Easthampton died on Monday, July 23, 2018 at Linda Manor in Leeds. She passed peacefully while sleeping.
Gratia was born the daughter of the late Marie (Quinn) and Anthony V. Watkevich on July 30, 1935 in Athol, MA. She was educated in Athol, Ma and graduated class of 1953.

On June 27, 1964 she exchanged vows with Donald Pariseault at Notre Dame Church in Holyoke. They were married with family and friends in attendance and have been married for fifty-four years.

Her career in Telecommunications was vast and to many, Gratia was an important influence in their Telecom Careers she worked as a Telecom Specialist for New England Telephone, AT&T and CTC for over forty years before retiring in 2002.

Gratia enjoyed many things in life. She was an avid reader and Scrabble player. Gratia volunteered in the community as a tutor and had a passion for our youth. Her love for the Red Sox, Music and animals were obvious. Gratia spent many summers enjoying Maine sunsets with her grandchildren surrounding her, not only did Gratia love her grandchildren, but she also extended kindness and love to those close to them.

Mrs. Pariseault is survived by her husband, Donald Pariseault of Easthampton. Her three children; Darren Pariseault and his wife Terri of Salem, NH. Angela Pariseault of Brandon, FL. and Cynthia Dias of Springfield. Her sister Antonia Barnack and her husband Richard of Springfield. In addition, she leaves eight grandchildren; Ryan and Nick Pariseault of Salem, NH. Tim Pariseault and his wife Naomi of Cumberland, R.I. Alexis Pariseault, Anthony Casiano, Devon and Brandon Dias all of Easthampton and Adam Estrada of Brandon, FL. One great granddaughter, Rylie Pariseault of Salem, NH. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 from 4 to 6pm. in the funeral home. In keeping with Gratia’s wishes there are no formal religious services and burial will be private.
